Invitation by the 15 m2 microdanza festival to Puig-Reig in Catalonia (Spain) on August 31 and September 1, 2024, to present a performance on the theme of water and textile, in the former textile colonies of Cal Ponç (Passeig dels Til-lers / Lime Tree Walk) and Cal Vidal (Square of the Puríssima), built for hundreds of workers in the 19th century along the Llobregat river.
Water, like dance, is a source of energy. The elastic, fluid, monumental and compact quality of a blue veil reveals the spaces and brings the energy of water. Themes around the production and consumption of the clothes we wear, water for the body’s survival, echo ecological, somatic and poetic actions.
