For the Rencontres art-performance festival in Reillanne on Sunday 18. September 2022, organised by Labo Novo, this performance uses the colours of the Ukrainian flag to create the image of a person literally torn between his attachment to Europe and his history with Russia. I ask the audience to melt 12 candles on my body (in reference to the 12 stars of the European flag) positioned around the torment, which lasts until I am completely detached.
